Dr. Mark Gordon and Dr. Hoad Harris
Dr. Harris is married to his beautiful wife Sheila Koser Harris. He is originally from Iowa where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Morningside College in Sioux City. He subsequently received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City. Thereafter he completed a residency in Family Medicine in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Dr Harris has been in full time practice since he completed residency training. Dr. Harris is in private practice and co-owns Plains Medical Clinic, LLC and EternityMedicine which is an age-management clinic with Dr. Joel Schock.
Dr. Harris is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine. Initially board-certified in 1985 and as required by the board, re-certified in 1991,1997and 2003,2013. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
In addition to the full-time clinical practice of Family Medicine, Dr. Harris has lectured extensively on the psychopharmacology of Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD.
He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. Dr. Harris is currently and/or previously a principal investigator in several clinical trials studying osteoporosis, alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disease,diabetes, restless leg syndrome, postherpetic neuralgia and asthma. Past appointments include Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine, MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND, 1994-1996.
Mark Gordon, MD, FACC did his undergraduate work at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN earning his BA in biology. He then went to medical school at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Hennepin County Medical Center. Then he returned to the University of Minnesota for a fellowship in Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has served as a Governor for the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine.
Mark has been involved in research at the Minneapolis Heart Institute, the University of Minnesota, and the National Institutes of Health. Additionally he has been involved as a site investigator for several international pharmaceutical and medical device trials.
Mark has always had a keen interest in preventive and integrative medicine. Most recently this lead him to receive a fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging medicine, and the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He completed the course work for the fellowship December 2014. Ultimately, it is his goal to have a full time preventive, integrative cardiology practice. His interest in preventive medicine has kept him constantly on the lookout for new technologies that may aid in helping his patients reduce their risk for cardiovascular and other diseases.
Mark currently serves as Chairman, LifeVantage Medical Advisory Board and is leading presenter at national conferences on anti-aging and Nrf2 activation in health and disease. H
